Creating a fundraiser
Who can start a fundraiser?
Anyone with a Wenkendi account can start a fundraiser. When you create one, we'll ask who the funds are for, your relationship to the beneficiary, and — if it's for an organization such as a school, church, or nonprofit — your affiliation and confirmation that you're authorized to raise funds on their behalf. This information is shown on your campaign page to build donor trust.
How long does it take to launch?
Most fundraisers can be created in under 10 minutes. Head to Start a fundraiser and follow the prompts.
Donating
How do donations work?
Donations are processed securely. You can donate with a credit or debit card and, if you choose, leave your name and a message for the organizer — or donate anonymously.
Is there a minimum donation?
The minimum donation is $10. There is no maximum.
Fees
What fees does Wenkendi charge?
Wenkendi charges a 5% platform fee. Payment-processing fees charged by the payment partner are separate. Donors are not charged any additional Wenkendi fee at checkout.
Withdrawals & payouts
When can organizers withdraw funds?
Donations are held in Pending status for 14 days after being received. This holding period is used for fraud prevention and chargeback monitoring. After the hold, funds become available for withdrawal to the organizer's connected payout account. See our Payout Policy for details.
Can Wenkendi delay or reverse a payout?
Yes. Wenkendi may delay, review, or reverse a payout if we detect suspicious activity, receive a chargeback, or need to investigate a fundraiser for a policy violation.
Verification
Does Wenkendi verify organizers?
Organizers can complete an optional identity verification to add a verified badge to their profile. Larger payouts may require verification. When a fundraiser is on behalf of an organization, organizers must confirm they are authorized to raise funds for that organization.
How do you verify a campaign?
Every campaign displays who the funds are for, the organizer's relationship to the beneficiary, and any organization affiliation. Our team also runs automated fraud-risk monitoring on donations and campaigns, and admins review flagged activity.
Refunds
Can I get a refund on my donation?
Donations to fundraisers are generally non-refundable once processed. If you believe a fundraiser is fraudulent or you were charged in error, contact us right away and we'll investigate. If a chargeback or refund is warranted, we'll work with the organizer and our payment partner to resolve it.
Closing a fundraiser
Can I close my fundraiser before the end date?
Yes. Organizers may close an active 14-day, 30-day, or 60-day fundraiser at any time. Closing the fundraiser immediately stops new donations. Donations already received remain in place and continue under their original 14-day hold and payout schedule. Closing a fundraiser does not restart, shorten, extend, accelerate, or delay any donation's payout date. Wenkendi's 5% platform fee and standard payment-processing fees still apply to donations already received.
Safety & trust
How do you keep the platform safe?
We use automated fraud monitoring, admin review, a 14-day payout hold, identity verification for organizers, and public transparency features — including organizer relationship, organization affiliation, and post-campaign donor reviews — so donors can make informed decisions.
Can I leave a review for a fundraiser?
Yes. After a fundraiser has ended or been completed, donors can leave a 1–5 star rating and an optional written review. The overall rating is displayed on the campaign page.
Reporting suspicious activity
How do I report a suspicious fundraiser?
If a fundraiser looks fraudulent, misleading, or violates our Community Guidelines, please email troyalespecimen@gmail.com with the campaign link and a short description of your concern. Our team will investigate promptly. In urgent cases, call (940) 263-1116.
What happens after I report?
Our team reviews every report. Depending on findings, we may pause the campaign, request additional verification, hold payouts, or remove the fundraiser. We keep an audit log of admin actions to maintain accountability.

What is Wenkendi?
Wenkendi is a community-driven online fundraising platform where people create fundraisers for permitted causes such as dreams, emergencies, education, medical needs, community projects, churches, and schools. Our slogan is Funding Dreams Together. Learn more about Wenkendi.
Do I need an account to donate on Wenkendi?
No. Anyone can donate to a public fundraiser without creating an account. You need an account only to start a fundraiser, message an organizer, or view your donation history and receipts.
How much does Wenkendi cost to use?
Creating a fundraiser is free. Wenkendi charges a 5% platform fee. Payment-processing fees charged by the payment partner are separate. Donors are not charged an extra Wenkendi fee at checkout.
How long does it take to receive money from a Wenkendi fundraiser?
Each donation is held for 14 days for fraud and chargeback review. After the hold, the net amount becomes available for withdrawal to your connected payout account. The minimum withdrawal is $10, and ended campaigns with less than $10 available can request a Final Balance Payout. See the Payout Policy.
Can churches and schools raise money on Wenkendi?
Yes. Churches, ministries, schools, PTO/PTA groups, booster clubs, and community organizations can raise funds for mission trips, youth programs, food pantries, classroom supplies, uniforms, field trips, band, athletics, and emergencies. What kinds of fundraisers are allowed on Wenkendi?
Wenkendi supports permitted causes including medical needs, emergencies, memorials and funerals, education, community projects, churches, schools, small businesses, and personal milestones. Prohibited uses are described in our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
Is Wenkendi safe to use?
Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment partner and Wenkendi never stores card numbers. Donations pass through a 14-day review hold, organizers can complete identity verification, reported campaigns can be paused or removed, and admin actions are recorded in an audit log.
