Wenkendi guide

Fundraising Safety Tips

Short answer

Fundraise and donate safely by keeping your account credentials private, donating only through the fundraiser page itself, never sending money by outside transfer at a stranger's request, and reporting anything suspicious to Wenkendi right away.

For organizers

  • Use a strong, unique password and keep your login to yourself.
  • Never share verification documents or payout details with anyone who contacts you claiming to be staff.
  • Keep your story accurate and update it if the situation changes.
  • Only raise for an organization when you are actually authorized to do so.

For donors

  • Give through the fundraiser page so the donation is recorded and receipted.
  • Be cautious if someone pressures you to send funds through an outside app or wire instead.
  • Read the story and look for a specific, verifiable need.
  • Ask the organizer a question using the Message Organizer button before giving if anything is unclear.

How Wenkendi supports safety

Donations are held for 14 days for fraud and chargeback review before payout. Organizers can complete identity verification, and larger payouts may require it. Admin actions are recorded in an audit log, and reported campaigns can be paused, held, or removed.

How to report a concern

Email troyalespecimen@gmail.com with the campaign link and a short description of the problem, or call (940) 263-1116 in urgent cases. Every report is reviewed.
