Set a near-term goal
Ask for what you need in the next few weeks rather than every cost you may eventually face. You can raise the goal later, and reaching a first goal encourages new supporters.
Plan around the 14-day hold
Every donation on Wenkendi is held for 14 days for fraud and chargeback review before it becomes available. If you need help before then, tell your community what immediate needs exist so they can also help directly with meals, transportation, childcare, or supplies.
